Okta now offers full support for the QueryPie data management platform, and is making the solution available through the Okta Integration Network (OIN) in South Korea. The company is hoping that the move will raise its profile in Korea, and in the Asia Pacific region more generally.

To that end, the OIN gives Okta customers access to a range of third-party services, each of which can be fully integrated with Okta’s own access management solutions. QueryPie itself was built to help companies consolidate data from multiple sources, so that all of that information can be found in a single centralized location. It also helps with access control, insofar as it allows organizations to dictate who has access to what information.

In that regard, QueryPie users can configure the system to make sure that specific users only have access to specific data. The web platform supports SAML authentication protocols, and creates an auditable record of events to ensure compliance with various data protection regulations. The QueryPie platform was developed by a group of CHEQUER database specialists.

“As Okta increases momentum with its partner network across Asia, we are thrilled to partner with QueryPie and extend our reach locally,” said Okta Director of APAC Regional Alliances Matthew Paull. “With QueryPie as part of Okta Integration Network, businesses will be able to seamlessly tap into Okta’s tools for simplifying the digital workflow.”

“Today, a lot of data teams struggle to manage data since data sources are scattered everywhere, which makes it hard to follow up on who owns and uses them, where data goes, and how they’re being used,” added CHEQUER CEO Brant Hwang. “We offer streamlined access control and privacy solutions that seamlessly integrate with existing data environments.”

Okta added Auraya’s EVA voice biometric platform to the Okta Integration Network back in March. The company has since updated the OIN with new workflows and risk assessment tools. Okta also recently acquired Auth0 with a $6.5 billion stock transaction.
