Get to know WizSense

As we recently announced, we’ve rebranded our product lines in two new categories, WizSense and WizMind, to help security professionals know which video solutions are better suited for which applications. In this post, we will take a closer look at WizSense.

As the more foundational of the two categories, WizSense offers simplified analytics to provide accurate results to meet the needs of most users. These solutions are based on a powerful AI chip to deliver smart motion detection, perimeter protection, active alarm, and other features that help protect the locations and assets that matter most to users.

The AI and a self-developed deep learning algorithm allow customers to focus on humans and vehicles while ignoring irrelevant data like pets, stray animals, debris, and extreme weather conditions. As a result, end users receive instant alerts during an event, fast target search following an event, and storage savings with Dahua’s Smart H.264/H.265+ codec and privacy protection.

To meet end users’ unique needs, the WizSense portfolio includes a variety of form factors, including 4MP and 5MP bullet, dome, wedge and eyeball cameras that offer Starlight Technology, True WDR, Smart IR illumination and IP67 housings. Additional members of the WizSense family include 2MP and 4MP PTZs, as well as new cost-effective thermal cameras, all of which combine to offer maximum flexibility in system design and deployment. Compatible with the WizSense portfolio are NVR and Penta-brid recorders available in 2TB, 4TB, 6TB, and 8TB capacities.

WizSense delivers powerful performance at a sensible price point that makes AI-enabled video surveillance solutions available to a broader range of customers.
