1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Sedan, FE3ling Zesty – Eminetra

Last week we featured a very mild Oldsmobile Cutlass Sierra, It was a basic three-box A body that no one ever excited.today another Oldsmobile cutlass Cutlass all Built-in timeline.

This is a little more exciting as it says FE3 on the back.

The Cutlass Supreme name is the historic name of Oldsmobile and has been in continuous production since 1965. Initially it was a rear-drive personal luxury car, but in 1988 it moved in two ways: front-drive and medium-sized family cars. With its fifth generation conversion and drivetrain replacement, the Cutlass Supreme has become much more modern with the times.Rear wheel drive G body (Formerly called A) was in production from 1977 to 1988, but was still in production when the new Cutlass Supreme went into production.

1988 was the first year of a new medium-sized W body platform that had a long-term mood at GM. The Cutlass Supreme initially debuted in coupe format, with the Oldsmobile version of the Buick Regal, Chevrolet Lumina and Pontiac Grand Prix. Also available as a fun convertible and sophisticated sedan, the W body was exactly what consumers in the 80’s and 90’s wanted more than its predecessor.

Available under the hood were a single 2.3-liter in-line 4-cylinder and V6 engine with three different displacements of 2.8, 3.1, and 3.4 liters. The transmission was either a 4-speed automatic or a 5-speed manual, but most of the products sold were automatic. 2.3 is Quad 4, which is closely related to the high-powered W41 version found in the previously featured curry. The engine has been available in the sportiest international series trim since 1990. 3.4 has been available since 1991. Customers of the Cutlass Supreme in the 1980s chose only 2.8 liter or 3.1 liter engines.

Like last week’s Ciera, Supreme’s trim options have been slimmed down over time. Oldsmobile (failed) tried to move from Regency Elite Broamifiation to a customer of the International Series European Businessmen, but neither of these groups was satisfied in the process. They sold many mid-trim SL models.

Oldsmobile has been tinkering with Supreme’s styling for years, slightly lengthening it in 1990 and 1992, and then shaving a tenth of an inch in 1996. The overall length varied from 192.1 inches to 193.7 inches with 4 doors. The two-door version was always a bit longer than the sedan.

The 1997 Cutlass Supreme Final The name of the Cutlass Supreme, and the shortest-lived W body in the group. Regal, Lumina and Grand Prix lived a much longer and happier life. Supreme was superseded by the (second generation) W body-based conspiracy in 1998 as Oldsmobile set a new and final styling direction.

Today’s rare ride is the Cutlass Supreme SL, which is only 19,000 miles. Equipped with 3.1 V6, automatic transmission and FE3 suspension package. In other words, it’s almost as sporty as you can go without jumping into the international series. The giant smoke heck blend action is combined with the out-of-place luggage rack / spoiler mess, but the rest looks great: lace alloy, sporty red trim stripes, tweedy buckets.3 days left Bid for $ 4,000 Meet the reserve. be interested?
