Fully customised Mahindra Thar with all-white paint job looks premium

Mahindra Thar is one of the most popular and discussed 4×4 SUV in the market. It is so popular that there is currently a waiting period of almost an year on this SUV. The main reason behind Thar’s popularity is its price. It is currently the most affordable 4×4 SUV one can buy in India. We have already started seeing several modified examples of the SUV and we have featured some of them on our website as well. Here we have a Mahindra Thar that has been modified in white shade and gets fully customised interiors.

The images have been shared by sikand_car on Facebook. A Mahindra Thar LX hard top has been completely modified inside out for this purpose. At the front, stock bumper and grille on this SUV has been replaced. It now gets an aftermarket grille with an off-road bumper. LED fog lamps are integrated in the bumper itself. The headlights have been replaced too. It now gets projector LED style aftermarket headlamps with LED DRL in it.

The metal skid plate on the Thar finished in Red can also be seen in the images. Coming to the side profile, the car gets an all-white them. The cladding, roof and the body panels are all painted in white. Another noticeable changes here are the wheels. The stock 18 inch alloy wheels have been replaced for a dual tone multi-spoke aftermarket alloy wheel. It also gets a low profile tyre. Other modification done on this Thar is the automatic foot step that pops out when the doors are opened.

The roof is also finished in white and at the rear, there are LED reflector lamps and it now gets Mercedes G-Wagen style spare wheel cover. Even the door handles on this Mahindra Thar have been finished in white. The SUV does looks unique in this shade of white. Moving inside, the black coloured plastic panels on the center console and around the AC vents have been painted in silver finish.

The interiors are finished in a Cherry Red finish. The dashboard, door pads all get a similar type of treatment. The seats are wrapped in similar coloured leather seat covers. Even the roof liner gets a similar treatment. The original touchscreen infotainment system has been replaced for an aftermarket unit. It gets push button start and roof has been modified too. This Mahindra Thar now gets two sunroofs in it. One for the front passengers and one for the rear. It looks like the speaker setup on this Mahindra Thar has also been upgraded.

Overall, the work done on this Thar looks very neat and unique. Mahindra Thar is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. There is a 2.0 litre mStallion turbo petrol engine that generates 150 Bhp and 320 Nm of peak torque and a 2.2 litre mHawk turbo diesel engine that offers 130 Bhp and 320 Nm of torque. Both petrol and diesel engine options come with 4×4 options and both these engines are offered with a manual and automatic gearbox option. Mahindra also has plans to introduce a 4-door version of the SUV in future.
