Here’s What Ja Rule Drives

For those who love stand-out cars and car movies, you may remember the red Integra that featured in the first The Fast and The Furious movie. Behind the wheel of that insane ride was Ja Rule, the American rapper and songwriter.

As well as Ja Rule’s love for producing music and writing rap lyrics, he clearly loves fast cars. He starred in the movie in 2001 and has since been building his dream car collection. His lineup clearly shows he still pursues the love for fast cars. There are a few classics in there too, which you may or may not expect.

Let’s take a closer look at the rapper’s cool car collection.

Lamborghini Murcielago

Ja Rule does not own just any Lamborghini Murcielago. Nope. His is mint green and so in line with the extravagant image that celebrities like to upkeep.

The rapper’s green beast boasts the famous 6.5-liter V12 engine. It can hit 0 to 100 km/h in an insanely fast 3.4 seconds, and the raging bull can max out at 205 mph.

Lamborghini’s Murcielago isn’t the fastest car they have ever released. Yet, the green color Ja Rule owns is probably one of the brightest. The 2-seater, 2-door coupe is extremely luxurious with super trendy interiors. In every Murcielago, you will find fine leather upholstery and automatic climate control to suit the needs of the extravagant people who drive and own them.

This beauty is one of Ja Rule’s most iconic possessions, which he has spoken about in several interviews and is well-known for in his neighborhood of Queens in New York. You probably couldn’t get a more stand-out color if you tried.

Ja Rule Owns A Rolls-Royce Drophead Coupe

The expense didn’t stop at forking out for a Murcielago. The rapper purchased his most expensive car, which happens to be the most expensive Rolls-Royce model. Ja Rule paid a whopping $400,000 for this.

Rolls-Royce debuted the Drophead Coupe in 2007 and was largely based on the 2003 Phantom design. Yet, it was a much more luxurious tourer with a larger engine, which could provide the driver with more power and torque than ever before.

The look and layout of the Drophead Coupe are quite distinguishable. With its two coach doors and large rectangular grille, you could probably spot one of these from a mile away, especially with Ja Rule driving it.

To boast true celebrity coolness and style, the Drophead Coupe features a convertible roof, which was only a thing for a few of the Rolls-Royce models. So, the feature was pretty unique and may have been a contributing factor to its immense price tag.

BMW i8

Alongside the extravagant supercar and most expensive Rolls-Royce, the rapper also owned a BMW i8. The i8 model was BMW’s first-ever plug-in hybrid car, which features a combustion engine as well as an electric motor.

Although the i8 is quick, it isn’t quite as fast as the Murcielago. From its electric motor, the i8 can max out at top speeds of 155mph. Whilst it’s 0 to 100 km/h time is 4.4 seconds. Again, it’s not quite as quick or powerful as the Murcielago, but it’s much more environmentally friendly.

Various models have been released since its first in 2014. The upgrades were to improve the battery capacity to extend its electronic range. It’s a shame to see it go. But for now, at least Ja Rule has got his hands on one and can enjoy it.

Range Rover Is Also In Ja Rule’s Collection

Last but not least is the almighty classic celebrity car, the Range Rover. Considered one of the most popular celebrity-run-around cars, the Range Rover is an iconic car for Ja Rule.

For the Ja Rule fans among us, you may remember a few of his music videos featuring a black Range Rover. Of which he still owns loudly and proudly. The ride is a truly iconic item, so there’s no wonder the rapper is still attached to it.

The Range Rover is a sports utility vehicle that was first released by Land Rover in the 1970s. More models have been released sporadically. But, we assume Ja Rule’s is as old as the music videos that were released in 2000.

With this being the oldest car in his lineup, we expect that he will cling on to it and show it off for as long as possible. No matter if he does own the most expensive Rolls-Royce, the Range Rover must hold a place close to the rapper’s heart.

In our opinion, Ja Rule’s car lineup is a little smaller than expected. Unlike other rappers, Ja Rule’s collection is refined. Nonetheless, the cars are still uber flashy and represent his celebrity status and loud personality.
