While Norqain is just three years old, it has a ton of experience at its disposal, and this likely accounts for its swift ascendency among the ranks of Swiss watch brands. Those in charge include the company’s founder, Ben Küffer, formerly of Breitling, whose father, Marc Küffer, was CEO of Roventa Henex SA, a large Swiss maker of private label watches, and currently serves as chairman of Norqain’s board. He’s joined on the board by Ted Schneider, of the same Schneider family that were majority owners of Breitling for years before selling to CVC Capital Partners. With experience and connections behind them, it’s unsurprising that doors have readily opened for Norqain. What’s more interesting is what Norqain has done with these opportunities.
