Kingston Police are searching for two men they claim broke into two apartment buildings this month, taking two bicycles and a motorcycle.

The first theft took place on April 7. At about 5:15 a.m., two men pried open the front security door and entered an apartment building on Mowat Avenue.

Police said that once inside, they made their way to the underground parking garage and stole a white, DJ City e-bicycle valued at more than $2,000. They also took a black, Giant bicycle-hybrid valued at $700. Security cameras in the apartment building captured the men moving throughout the building before they left through the emergency exit door in the garage.

The two men were then seen on April 17, this time at 7 p.m. in an apartment building on King Street West.

Again, the men were captured on security video prying open the front security doors, going to the parking garage and taking a red 2020 Honda 125 cc motorcycle. The motorcycle was valued at $3,500, police said.

Both men are described as being middle-age, white, wearing black baseball hats, dark masks over their faces, black jackets and dark-coloured pants.

One of the men was wearing grey or beige footwear with a darker coloured sole, and the other was wearing dark footwear. Each carried a black backpack, one of which had blue trim on the front.
