Mercedes-Maybach is expanding its product portfolio with its luxurious-focused all-electric EQS.

The SUV concept is nearing its production debut, with its design following a distinctive ‘purpose design’ that incorporates a smooth flow from the front end, roof and rear spoiler.

As is the case with the interior of most Maybach models, it features some of the best technology. The centrepiece is a curved 12.3-inch OLED MBUX Hyperscreen, along with other additions like round air vents coated in high-gloss chrome and a multifunction steering wheel.

Its appearance is kitted out with a two-tone paint finish in obsidian black metallic and zircon red metallic, with the chassis sitting pretty on sizeable 24-inch light-alloy wheels. The rear features a continuous helix light strip, with exclusive front and rear automatic comfort doors.

Electric luxury

Drawing inspiration from the S-Class is the fitment of a high-end rear seat entertainment system. Other exclusive details are the new door panels, armrests and trim elements covered in white piano lacquer and materials in deep-sea blue.

Britta Seeger, Member of the Board of Management of Daimler AG and Mercedes-Benz AG, responsible for Marketing & Sales, says: “Many of our Mercedes-Maybach customers are digitally connected to a high degree and place the highest demands on our digital solutions. They also expect the brand of their choice to stand up for sustainable values and take responsibility for the environment.”
