Measuring Guide For Curtains.
All prices quoted are for a PAIR of curtains, if you require a single curtain follow the instructions below, but add in the delivery comments box at the checkout ” SINGLE CURTAIN “. We will then manufacture a single curtain to suit your track or pole.
Accurately measuring for curtains is a must if you want to get the right fit, whether you’re shopping for easy-fit ready-made curtains or commissioning made to measure.
Curtain width measurements will depend on the length of your curtain track or pole, but measuring curtain length or ‘drop’ will be determined by where you’d like your drapes to end.
Use a metal tape measure for better accuracy and follow our guide on how to measure for curtains to get those dimensions right!
Measure the distance from the bottom of the ring the track gliders or runners or rings ( this will be the ring to into which the curtain hooks will be placed.) to 1cm above the floor(2/3cms if you have not yet had your carpet fitted but intend to). Or measure to the desired length e.g just below the sill or just above the radiator.
Measure to distance from the top surface of your curtain pole to 1cm above the floor(2/3cms if you have not yet had your carpet fitted but intend to). Or measure to the desired length e.g just below the sill or just above the radiator.
Now you have a measurement for the width and drop of your new curtains simply choose which fabric you want and enter the measurements into the relevant boxes. Our site will generate a price, should you wish to continue simply add to cart. Don’t forget to add any extras you want e.g eyelets or blackout lining.
We offer approx double fullness in our curtains, many internet retailers also claim this but don’t, check before you order. Our curtains are made in widths of fabric, each width is between 138cms and 152cms. So in a 2 width pair of curtains for a track 240 cms wide you would have a total of approx 550cms of fabric width, which will give you full looking curtains.

Always use a steel tape measure, fabrics tapes can stretch. It may seem obvious but if you are replacing existing curtains that are the desired size just measure them and input these sizes into the site.
If you require 2 pairs of curtains of different drops for the same room and it is important that they are pattern matched please let us know if you would like them to match from the top or Bottom.
