Other topics in the program include age-appropriate solutions for independent senior living at home and on the move, use of accessible workplace technologies and better employment opportunities, as well as digital technologies in the education sector.
In the foyer, exhibitors and sponsors present the latest technical innovations, aids and services for a barrier-free, self-determined life in everyday life and working life.
A special highlight is the live VR showcase of the T-Systems Test and Integration Center. Conference visitors can use simulation to experiment with the reduction of their senses. With virtual reality glasses they can go into different scenarios and experience some limitations themselves. Different visual impairments, blindness and a tremor as an example of motor impairments are simulated. This form of awareness training enables participants to define requirements for barrier-free applications and products themselves and to integrate them into their own work.
