Representatives of stakeholders, government agencies and technology companies, as well as policymakers, are jointly discussing the accessibility and use of digital technologies. Other topics in the program include age-appropriate solutions for independent senior living at home and on the move, use of accessible workplace technologies and better employment opportunities, as well as digital technologies in the education sector.

In the foyer, exhibitors and sponsors present the latest technical innovations, aids and services for a barrier-free, self-determined life in everyday life and working life.

A special highlight is the live VR showcase of the T-Systems Test and Integration Center. Conference visitors can use simulation to experiment with the reduction of their senses. With virtual reality glasses they can go into different scenarios and experience some limitations themselves. Different visual impairments, blindness and a tremor as an example of motor impairments are simulated. This form of awareness training enables participants to define requirements for barrier-free applications and products themselves and to integrate them into their own work.

A world first to be presented at the M-Enabling Forum Europe is the assistive mouse adapter for iPad and iPhone, the AMAneo BTi. So far, people with severe physical disabilities, if at all, could operate these devices only to a very limited extent. CSS MicroSystems GmbH will be present with a stand so that the visitors to the M-Enabling Forum can test and experience the new achievement live.

Facilitators and simultaneous interpreters as well as neck ring loops are available to the visitors of the M-Enabling Forum so that they can follow the conference in full, either in English or German. Further information about the conference and the participation options can be obtained from the European branch in Düsseldorf or the official website

For registration for the conference, the early bird price of € 99 per person applies until June 30, 2019.
