The Dahua 2MP Starlight Face Recognition camera offers AI capabilities at the edge, enabling complex, real-time facial recognition and facial feature comparison without the need for an external database. Featuring an advanced Vision Processor Unit (VPU), the camera is able to deliver high-performance machine vision and awareness, allowing for advanced vision applications that were previously impossible with conventional ISPs. The powerful VPU, combined with Dahua’s Deep Learning Technology, enables the camera to better enhance targets to extract and categorize various facial features, from age and gender to expression and glasses or facial hair.

Including human facial feature extraction and real-time snapshots, the camera is able to support a database of up to 10,000 faces across five separate libraries. Ideal for deployments which require management for points of entrance or exit, enabling security personnel to keep better tabs on those in their facilities.
