Police found Chad Day, 42, on the ground in the front driveway of an apartmet building ar 103 West Lodge Ave., near Lansdowne Ave and Queen St. W. on the evening of Sept. 8. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

His death was Toronto 75th homicide of 2018.

Investigators said Day fell after an altercation on a balcony above where he was found. Police said it is unclear whether he was killed by injuries sustained before the fall, or by the fall itself.

Police earlier arrested two suspects on Sept. 12. Lee Newelln, a 30-year-old Hamilton man, was charged with first-degree murder. Christopher Small, 28, also from Hamilton, was charged with second-degree murder.
