Toronto police released a security camera photo of a suspect on Wednesday after a woman says she was sexually assaulted in Scarborough last month.

The woman got off a TTC bus at Morningside Ave. and Sewells Rd., on Sept. 20 at 8:35 p.m. As she walked on Sewells Rd. towards Fawcett Tr., she declined a man’s offer to help her with her grocery bags.

He then sexually assaulted her, police said.

The suspect is described as brown, 20 to 29 years old, 5-foot-7 with a medium build and clean shaven. He was last seen in the area of Carisbrooke Sq., wearing a red shirt with the hood up, black pants and sparkly shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-4200 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
